A few things
to know.
Is this only for Cape Cod businesses?
No. Cape Cod is home, and remote work makes support available to businesses in other locations and industries. Onsite work is discussed case by case, with availability and travel charges agreed in advance.
Do I need to have an HR person already?
No. These services are built for owners and managers who have little or no internal HR support. If someone already handles HR, Breakwater can also help with a defined project or a situation that needs outside support.
Will you handle employee meetings for me?
The advisory partnership includes preparing you or your manager to lead the meeting, within your monthly hours. Attendance is available separately at $225/hour, with a one-hour minimum via Zoom or a two-hour minimum onsite, plus agreed travel charges.
Can I combine services?
Yes. An advisory client might also need a handbook project or an independent investigation. Those engagements are scoped and priced separately so the deliverables and costs are clear.
What does the one-business-day response cover?
For active engagements, it means an initial reply within one business day, not completion of every request within a day. Project milestones and investigation timelines are agreed separately. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
What if something needs attention sooner?
You can request urgent support at $300/hour. Urgent work depends on availability and is accepted separately with a confirmed scope. A request alone does not reserve immediate service or after-hours coverage.
